Imposter Syndrome is that persistent feeling of doubt and fear that creeps in while under stress or pressure. It can show up as a fear of being exposed as a fraud in our personal or professional worlds despite true evidence of our competence and achievements. Addressing our “inner critic” and taking action to quiet our false internal narrative is crucial to maintain confidence, make sound decisions faster, and maintain a productive environment without unnecessary and false self-doubt that may be hindering performance. Krista is a high-energy speaker who lives by the mantra: LOL – “Live Out Loud” and you won’t want to miss her presentation. She will tell us about the three C’s that will help overcome Imposter Syndrome: Catch, Control, and Change. 1:00 - 3:00: Business partner exhibit time 3:00 - 4:00: Breakout sessions (3 concurrent) 4:00 - 5:30: Happy hour + prizes Please help us with our room planning by selecting one of the following Breakout Sessions. This session was presented at ALA National in recent years and was very popular. From Prompts to Productivity: Real-World AI Use for Legal Admins, Marketers, and More AI isn’t just for techies—and it’s not just a trend. Generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and others are quickly becoming everyday productivity tools across law firms. But many legal professionals still don’t know where to start—or how to move beyond curiosity into meaningful, practical use. In this interactive session, we’ll start with a short, practical introduction to how tools like ChatGPT actually work, with live examples of how to use them to write an email, draft a simple policy, or reword a tricky message. Then we’ll go deeper—showcasing real-world examples of how generative AI can support the kind of work you’re already doing.
You’ll learn how to apply these tools whether you’re a firm administrator, marketing leader, HR professional, or operations manager—and walk away with practical, role-relevant ideas to try the moment you get back to your desk. Who it’s for: Law firm administrators, operations leaders, marketers, and legal professionals in any role who want to work smarter, not harder—with a realistic roadmap for using AI effectively in their daily work. |
