Facilities – Our purpose is to bring together legal administrative professionals and office managers responsible for the planning, management, and improvement of legal office environments across Minnesota. Whose mission is to share expertise, promote best practices, and collaborate on solutions that support secure, efficient, and professional workplaces for attorneys, staff, and clients. The group advances discussions around safety, regulatory compliance, workplace technology, sustainability, and space strategies that strengthen the operational excellence of law firms. The group meets quarterly. Meetings are typically held over the lunch hour virtually. Our meeting format is educational presenters and/or round-table discussions. We strive to become the leading collaborative network for office and facilities leaders in Minnesota’s legal community—advancing innovative, secure, and client-focused workplace environments that support the evolving practice of law, protect confidentiality, and enable law firms to operate efficiently and responsibly in a changing legal and business landscape. Financial Management - Provides a forum for financial managers to meet, network and discuss ideas of interest in the legal industry. Many find participation in this group to be an excellent way to get to know others that face many of the same daily challenges and generate good discussion regarding process improvements and problem solutions. Our meeting format is educational presenters and/or round-table discussions. The group meets once a month between March-November. Lunch is provided by the hosting law firm. Knowledge Management/ Innovation - A forum for professionals working in the areas of Pricing/LPM/KM. We meet to network and have educational presentations/discussions on topics within these areas of responsibility. Discussions are typically focused on people, process, and technology as they relate to Pricing/LPM/KM. The group meets every 2-3 months. Meetings are typically held over the lunch hour by a hosting firm, with a few social happy hours scheduled throughout the year. Member(s) of the hosting firm will provide beverages and a ~30 minute PowerPoint presentation on a specific topic, with ~15 minutes for Q&A/discussion to follow. Emerging Leaders - This group is for professionals who are new to legal management, early in their careers, returning to legal management after a break, or have under 15 years of experience. Whether you are a new manager, making a career transition, or simply looking to grow, you are welcome to join. Our goal is to provide a forum for emerging professionals to network, ask questions, and discuss topics relevant to their development. The group meets approximately every two months.
